New Poll Type: Call to Action

Show your audience a popup with a message and a button that links to any page. The message supports Markdown links and button clicks are counted in the event analytics.

Call to action is a new poll type. It shows a popup to your audience with a message and a button that opens a link in a new tab. Use it to point viewers to a feedback survey, a sign-up page or any other link during your event.

How it works

Create a call to action in Event Admin under Audience interactions. All fields are optional:

  • Headline: shown at the top of the popup
  • Message: longer text below the headline. Supports inline Markdown links like [Click here](https://example.com)
  • Button label: text on the button. Leave it blank for a dismiss-only message
  • Destination URL: where the button takes viewers

Activate it like any other poll from Web Studio, Moderation view or Live control room. Videosync counts the button clicks. The count updates live in Web Studio and Moderation view, and the event analytics and CSV export show total and unique clicks.
